Machine Learning and AI at IISc Bangalore (20-21 Jan)
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence have gripped the world\'s imagination extensively for the past decade. From ruminations of a future where machines take over the Earth, to thinking about AI being indistinct from humans themselves, the field has enormous potential.
Machine learning however, is not a recent concept, and was first coined by Arthur Samuel way back in 1959. AI was also founded as a discipline in 1956. Though the concepts have been there for a while, only in the past two decades have the advances in these fields been astounding, due to the rapid technological growth.
For any modern computer programmer, or an engineer, these fields are invaluable, and the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Workshop by HT India Labs will provide an extensive insight into these fields.
